🌐 Network Infrastructure Engineer (Associate, Professional, or Expert)

Location: Rochester, NY (Hybrid)

Travel: Required within NY State

Salary Range: $65,000 – $150,000 (based on experience)

About the Role

We're looking for talented network engineers — from early-career to seasoned experts — who want to work with Aruba campus networking solutions and support customers across Western, Central, and Upstate New York.

Whether you're configuring switches, troubleshooting complex WLAN issues, or validating campus designs, you’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality network solutions.

Essential Responsibilities (All Levels)

  • Design, configure, and deploy wired and wireless network solutions

  • Install and maintain switches, routers, and wireless access points

  • Perform site surveys and site audits

  • Troubleshoot and resolve tickets using our ticketing system

  • Conduct customer discovery sessions and support product demos

  • Configure network monitoring and management tools

  • Provide updates to customers and management

  • Prepare project estimates and documentation

  • Contribute to continuous process improvements and policies

📈 Role Levels

Associate

  • Basic knowledge of Layer 2/3 networking

  • Hands-on experience configuring switches or APs (6+ months)

  • Works under guidance of senior engineers

Professional

  • Deploys, maintains, and optimizes campus networks independently

  • Mentors Associates and contributes to project leadership

  • 2+ years enterprise networking experience

Expert

  • Leads WLAN rollouts and validates architectural designs

  • Serves as primary escalation for complex issues

  • Deep experience with Aruba WLAN, RF optimization, and network troubleshooting

  • 5+ years enterprise networking experience

🔧 Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of L2/L3 networking, routing, and switching

  • Familiarity with Aruba campus LAN/WLAN technologies (or desire to learn)

  • Experience with enterprise LAN/WAN environments

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Preferred Certifications (not required):

    • Aruba Networking Associate / Professional / Expert / Architect

    • Cisco CCNA / CCNP
